Bob Marley’s photos from his 1966 US Visa and work permit application. Asked during the interview: “Were you a professional singer?”, he answered “No Sir, amateur.” He lived in Wilmington and worked at an auto plant in Newark; vividly portrayed by his song ‘Night Shift” (1976).
