Regina, 44, and her son Judah, 18, are both pursuing degrees in early childhood education through Delaware State University’s Early Childhood Innovation Center (ECIC). After taking ten years to earn her associate degree, Regina’s perseverance inspired Judah to follow a similar path. Now, Regina is working toward her bachelor’s at Wilmington University, while Judah studies at DSU. Together, they also work at Chosen Children’s Child Care in Wilmington, turning their education into real-world impact. Their story highlights the power of family, resilience, and the support ECIC offers in helping Black families succeed in higher education.
