Cheris Monique is changing the narrative… No matter the age, life circumstances, or body
choices any woman can thrive in any arena of life if they build the confidence to see their
dreams through.
Born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware, Cheris Monique found her calling for the fashion and entertainment industry. Cheris’ older cousin started in the industry well before she knew it would be possible for her to get her start. That self-discovery journey led her to New York City where she had the opportunity to pursue her career. Cheris ultimately landed multiple gigs in the industry including but not limited to a role as an extra on Law and Order, one life to live. The chance to feature in New York Fashion week and walk the runway amongst America’s Next Top Model. In addition to her modeling and television career, Cheris was also featured in music videos with prominent artists and truly discovered her affinity for the entertainment industry.
Coming from a small city in Wilmington, Delaware, traveling from the poverty-driven streets of the upper east side she aspired to make it in the industry despite the environment she was born into. Later into her career, Cheris decided to put a pause on pursuing her dreams as a published model and actress after finding out that she was expecting her first son.
While her journey took a turn toward motherhood at a young age; Cheris never gave up on her journey to impact the arts, fashion, and entertainment industry. She set out to accomplish a new goal and launch an advocacy program for young women. RAM ROLE MODELS was created to inspire girls to build the necessary life skills and confidence needed to rip the arena in every area of their lives. Her advocacy program for girls ages 7-18 began in 2011 and since then she has impacted a plethora of families and girls in Wilmington, De. Improving and working on their insecurities and contributing to their quality of life by providing a safe haven for the young women to express themselves, appreciate their mind, body and talents and embody greatness in every arena they challenge themselves to perform in. Her partnership with local grassroots teen advocacy organization 1 Village alliance has helped to foster the life-changing experiences of hundreds of children and their families.

The changes in life can be challenging, discouraging, difficult but itâs up to you to be the inspirational light of your life. You have to be committed to showing out and showing up for yourself every chance you get .. it will inspire the next woman.â
