Ascend Legacy Academy (@ascendlegacyacademy), the first Black boarding school in Delaware founded by Dr Chanel Gaither, has announced a groundbreaking partnership with H&S Construction & Supply, LLC and Line House, LLC.

Together, they will repurpose a historic Underground Railroad property owned by H&S as residential facilities for students during the 2025-2026 academic year. This partnership is a significant milestone for Ascend Legacy Academy, reflecting its mission to provide an empowering education centered on experiential learning and cultural empowerment. By living and learning in a space with profound historical significance, students will have a unique opportunity to connect with the spirit of resilience and liberation that aligns with the Academy’s values.
