The students — a 15-year-old boy, a 17-year-old boy, and an 18-year-old student — were each taken into custody and have been charged with multiple felony offenses related to weapon possession and receiving stolen property. Authorities have not released their names due to their ages and ongoing legal proceedings.

School administrators contacted police after locating the weapon during a search on campus. Officers arrived quickly, secured the firearm, and detained the students without further incident. No injuries were reported.

The discovery has prompted renewed concern among parents and community members about safety issues on school grounds. District officials have emphasized that they followed proper protocols and are cooperating fully with the investigation.

Additional details about the origin of the firearm and the circumstances leading up to the search have not yet been released. The case remains under investigation, and further charges are possible.

Authorities are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
