Delaware music meets HBCU football with a new anthem for Hornet Nation.

Delaware artist Helly Way, a Smyrna native and Smyrna High School graduate, has released “Swarm,” a hip-hop anthem connected to DeSean Jackson and the Delaware State University Hornets football program, bringing together Delaware talent, music, football and HBCU culture.
Powered by the creative team and minds at @jetphynxfilms, the project shows that @JetPhynx is a true visionary, helping bring the sound, energy and spirit of Hornet Nation to life.
While Helly Way is not a DSU graduate, he is heavily involved in the Delaware community through his music. “Swarm” represents another way for the artist to use his platform to celebrate the community, its athletes and HBCU culture.
Released August 6, 2026, through 24kMusicGroup, “Swarm” gives Hornet Nation something new to rally around as DSU football continues its new era under Head Coach DeSean Jackson.
