Initially, an independent, non-denominational church, in September 2008 Harvest Christian Fellowship joined The Wesleyan Church.
Harvest Christian Fellowship began as a Bible Study on January 3, 2007, with twelve people forming the initial group of members. Three months later, on April 1, 2007 (Palm Sunday), the inaugural Sunday worship service was held in the cafeteria of Brookside Elementary School, with nearly one hundred persons in attendance.
