Thompson III has changed his narrative of success. Mr. Thompson served time for armed robbery and possession of a firearm at the Smyrna Correctional Facility. While incarcerated, he dedicated this time to personal and professional growth through education and a mindset shift. Upon his release, Mr. Thompson secured employment within the public sector in the construction infrastructure field. Thompson created Truth in Actions Holdings & Realty LLC. The company worked on several smaller projects to raise the capital to purchase the land.
As President & CEO of Truth in Actions Holdings & Realty LLC and its subsidiary, TIA Contractors & Home Improvement, Donald Thompson’s vision of purpose has come full circle. He understands that revitalizing his neighborhood with over $1.9 million in new construction real estate in the City of Wilmington, the Corporate Capital of America was crucial. Thompson, a native resident of Wilmington, Delaware, Donald Thompson was not a stranger to the societal ills attributed to growing up in the inner city. He spent many hours at the Jackson Street Boys & Girls Club with neighborhood friends.
