Via @delartmuseum … We’re closing out this month’s celebration of Black artists with 4 artists who consider Wilmington, DE home. Edward Loper, Sr. (depicted in the top far left of the background mural), Edward Loper, Jr. (depicted in the center left of the mural) K.O. Simms @kosimmsfinearts (pictured right) and André L. Wright Jr. @coloroflife (pictured left) have a lot in common, but their art is uniquely their own. Born on the Eastside of Wilmington, these four artists have played important roles in capturing the people and scenes of their city. Their creations are vital to representing Wilmington’s history and artistic achievements in the Museum’s collection.
