Dell Scott debuted @DellScottCollection, Emerge during NYFW to a full house of attendees on February 11th at AG Studios. Press, influencers, and celebrities were in attendance such as Afrobeats/Dancehall artist TeeManay, Actor, Oshea Russell of Tyler Perry’s, All the Queen’s Men, and Popstar Aaron Paul, formerly of World’s Apart.
70’s supermodel Debbie Dickinson opened the show in a custom, Dell Scott Collection Black Satin Pearl Trim Petal Gown, along with Project Runway Alumni, Mimi Tao gracing the runway in a Black Satin Pearl Trim Mermaid Dress.
Dell says it was exciting for Dickinson to open the show as she recalled flipping the pages of Vogue and Cosmopolitan as a youth and seeing the supermodels of that era, Carol Alt, Beverly Johnson, and Cheryl Tiegs to name a few.
Noting the allure of glitz and glamour, her collection was compared to the likes of the late designer, Paco Rabanne.
Dell looks forward to presenting Emerge next at PFW on Sat 3/4/23 at 7 p.m. to support her local fashion community as a CFDA Runway 360 Designer and FGI (Fashion Group International) Philadelphia board member.
