The A. Philip Randolph Institute – Delaware Chapter (APRI-DE) is set to host its annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the Executive Banquet & Conference Center, and this year’s celebration promises to be one of deep reflection, unity, and recognition of community excellence.

This powerful in-person event invites Delawareans to gather in honor of Dr. King’s legacy, starting the day with prayer, music, and fellowship. The morning will be guided by the theme of social justice, faith, and action—principles Dr. King championed throughout his life.

Headlining the program will be Fleur McKendell, the Magnificent NAACP Delaware State President, delivering the keynote address. Her message is expected to stir both hearts and action. Setting the tone with spirit and soul, Sadé Truiett will serve as Worship Leader, leading attendees in a dynamic and moving experience of faith.
