In his signature high-energy style, Josh Pray gives Delaware its comedic flowers, it to Captain America—the “first avenger”—because Delaware is literally the first U.S. state, aka “The Big D.” He jokes that being first gives it top-tier status, even if most people forget it exists.

He cracks on tax-free shopping, saying Delaware folks get mad when visiting states like Florida that only offer tax-free deals during back-to-school time. (Note: He hilariously gets it wrong by saying Delaware doesn’t pay any taxes—we don’t pay sales tax, but we do pay state tax!)
Pray is surprised and impressed that Wilmington is majority Black, saying it’s basically “Wakanda out there”—a hidden Black gem in plain sight.
He goes on to rave about Delaware’s lightning-fast internet, joking that if your Wi-Fi is faster than his, he’s pulling up to your house and spending the night—just don’t ask what he’s watching (and don’t tell his kids). If anything crazy happens online, Delaware will be the first to know.
Finally, he says Delaware people are built different—a small state with a big attitude. He compares it to a 5’6” baller dunking on a 6’7” guy: “Delaware got something to prove.” And just when you think you can underestimate it? Boom—they’ll surprise you. Or as he puts it, “Ask every white man in Delaware.” 💀
