Houston police are investigating the shooting of a juvenile female at 3322 Yellowstone Boulevard about 2:55 a.m. on Saturday (Jan. 1).
Arianna Delane, 4 year old niece of George Floyd, was shot in her sleep. Bullets were fired into her father’s apartment and it took FOUR HOURS for police to arrive. Arianna’s mother eventually drove her to the ER where she underwent surgery for a punctured lung and liver.

The victim, 4 years old, was transported to an area hospital.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives A. Carroll and J. Roberts reported:
A suspect or suspects fired several shots into an apartment at the above address as four adults and two children were inside the apartment. One of the children was struck in the torso. She was transported in a private vehicle to an area hospital where she underwent surgery and is currently in stable condition.
At this time, there is no suspect description or motive in the shooting.
