The Michigan Panthers and University of Delaware graduate, Kedrick Whitehead Jr. (@kedrick.whitehead), has been honored as the 2025 United Football League Special Teams Player of the Year, also earning a spot on the prestigious All‑UFL Team.
A Middletown High School product and former Blue Hen standout, Whitehead compiled 295 career tackles at Delaware — ranked among the top defensive backs in program history — and was a four‑time All‑CAA selection. After showcasing his skills briefly with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he signed with the Michigan Panthers in March 2024.
