It’s not every day that you meet someone who became an attorney at the age of 23, but that is exactly the case with Veda Davida Wooley, Esq., MBA. Remarkably, she earned her Bachelor of Science and MBA in finance from Wilmington University (WilmU), graduating first in her class in just two years. But Veda didn’t stop there; she went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from Drexel University’s Kline School of Law in just two years while simultaneously completing coursework at WilmU.
In 2021, at the age of 23, she passed the Nevada Bar Exam. Most recently, in February 2025, at the age of 28, Veda passed the Delaware Bar Exam, which is widely considered one of the toughest Bar Exams in the United States. Given that over 60% of Fortune 500 companies are incorporated in Delaware, the Delaware Bar Exam poses a particularly challenging hurdle. Incredibly, Veda passed both the Delaware and Nevada Bar Exams on her first attempt. She is now licensed to practice law in Delaware and Nevada, a historic accomplishment for anyone.
Veda and her sister, Davina Wooley, a computer engineer who holds a B.S. and MBA from Wilmington University and an M.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, were both born and raised in Delaware by their single custodial father, noted entrepreneur Dave Wooley. This background enhances the significance of Veda’s extraordinary achievements. In addition to her legal career, Veda is the Associate Producer of the award-winning film “Dionne Warwick: Don’t Make Me Over” and serves as the President of Wooley Entertainment. It should also be noted that the legendary music icon, Dionne Warwick, is Veda Davida Wooley’s Godmother. Veda is also an adjunct business professor at Wilmington University. Currently, Veda serves as a Deputy Attorney General at the Department of Justice in Wilmington, Delaware. With an impressive list of her accomplishments that many professionals spend decades striving toward, and still under the age of thirty, Veda Davida Wooley, Esq., MBA, is living proof that dedication, discipline, execution, and prayers can defy all odds.
