The University of Delaware’s Black Alumni Organization (BAO) proudly welcomes its 2025 Leadership Board, a dynamic team of alumni leaders ready to elevate the mission of BAO and strengthen ties across the UD Black community.

- Vice President: Ashley Getugi
- Secretary/Treasurer: Brandy Parker
- Wellness & Belonging Coordinator: Faythe Daniels
- Outreach Coordinator: Syanne Seth
Board Member Highlights
- Stacy Yates (’05), a longtime school counselor in Philadelphia and founder of Black Blue Hen Apparel, is passionate about amplifying the legacy of Black alumni and expanding opportunities for engagement.
- Ashley Getugi (’24) is known for her service-driven leadership as a former Diversity Enrichment Leader at UD, an NAACP Student Activist Award recipient, and now Director of Ambassador Programs at Bonafyde Official.
- Brandy Parker (’01, MBA ’08) brings 20+ years in healthcare revenue strategy and a love for community connection.
- Faythe Daniels (’07), a high school counselor and active community leader, will lead BAO’s wellness and belonging efforts.
- Syanne Seth (’22, MS ’25), a behavioral health professional and community advocate, will focus on outreach and building impactful partnerships.
About BAO
Formed as a way for UD’s Black alumni to stay connected, BAO has grown into a powerful bridge between alumni and current students, providing mentorship, networking, and a sense of belonging. Working alongside the UD Alumni Association and the Office of Development and Alumni Relations, BAO hosts annual programs during Homecoming, Alumni Weekend, and seasonal regional gatherings.
