“NC” stands for National Collegiate—the main national tournament for women’s college wrestling. The sport is still emerging, so it’s not yet an official NCAA championship event, though many NCAA programs compete.

How they qualified:

🥉 Icart Galumette (117 lbs)
Fought through the consolation rounds to earn 3rd place at regionals and a spot at nationals.

High School Resume:
2023 Florida State Champion
• Conference, District, and Regional Champion

🥈 Louise Juitt (145 lbs)
Advanced to the regional championship match, finishing runner-up to qualify.

High School Resume:
2025 Missouri State Champion
Missouri’s all-time wins leader (193 victories)
• Three-time Missouri state placer (2022–2024)
• Ranked #3 in the U.S. at 140 lbs

And remember — this is Delaware State’s first season with a women’s wrestling program, making them the first Division I HBCU to launch one.

Major moment for DSU and women’s wrestling.
